The ultimate controlling shareholder of Sinofert is Sinochem Corporation, one of the key state-owned enterprises under the supervision of SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council), Sinochem Corporation has been named to “Fortune Global 500” for 19 times, ranking the 170th in 2009.

The second largest shareholder of Sinofert is Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (“PotashCorp”), which is the largest potash producer in the world. Sinochem Fertilizer Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “Sinochem Fertilizer”) and Sinochem Fertilizer (Overseas) holdings Ltd. are both under the full ownership of Sinofert Holdings Ltd, implementing domestic and overseas fertilizer business respectively.
